The Richmond Clemson Club

is hosting a tailgate at the Clemson-UVA game in Charlottesville

and we want ALL Tiger fans to join us!

 

DATE: November 2, 2013

LOCATION: Charlottesville, VA

TIME: Starting around 10am

KICKOFF: 3:30pm

Parking & location

 

We're asking all Clemson fans to tailgate together in UHall West lot, with overflow in UHall East and JPJ Surface lot. Why this location? It's free, opens early, is about a 1 mile walk to the stadium, and has lots of space for a ton of Tigers!

 

Driving directions (taken from the UVA website): Utilize exit 118B off Interstate 64 and travel toward Charlottesville on the 29/250 bypass. Take third exit onto Leonard Sandridge Road. Go straight through two traffic signals. UHall West is on the right, JPJ overflow is on the left following this light.

 

Food

 

If you don’t want to bring your own food to the game, we’re providing a catered meal from Brock’s BBQ from 12:30-2:30pm. The deadline to pay for meal tickets has closed.

 

If you paid for a meal, we will have a checklist and wristbands at the event. You do not need to print your receipt. Your order includes:

 

- Minced pork BBQ with buns & rolls (chicken tenders if a kids meal)

- 3 sides

- Lemonade & iced tea

 

Other stuff to know

 

You should bring anything else you need to tailgate. This includes tents, chairs, games, and any other food and beverages you want. You are also responsible for buying your own ticket (through Clemson or another vendor).

 

You don't need to be a member of the Richmond Clemson Club to join in the fun. And if you aren't ordering food through us, that's okay too (we're just offering it to help you). Seriously, we want as many Tiger fans together as possible!

 

We're still working on the details, but at our Clemson area we hope to have:

- Tiger Band

- Cheerleaders and/or Rally Cats

- Clemson stickers

- Orange balloons

- Tiger Rags

- and much more
